Project: Create a waiting time prediction app for truckers to select the best time to go the the Port of Montreal

Working with stakeholders, data scientist team and users to display time series in a comprehensive way for trucker to understand.

Design Process

  1. Stakeholder interviews (Port executives and major transportation companies)
  2. User interviews at Robert Transport with dispatchers and truckers
  3. Low fidelity wireframe for chart selection and data fitting
  4. High fidelity mockups as proposal to the client’s dev team

Opportunity

The app could prescribe the best time to go to the the four docks. It shows the delay cause by planned train. It also predict the traffic for tomorrow with less precision.
